What do we do?
Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational content to Chinese students from 7th to 12th grade in China and in the US.
Using online tools, we provide short online courses, academic counseling, one-on-one teaching, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students’ academic success.
Sinica Education is looking for instructors to join our team.
Specifically, we are looking for instructors in the following subject areas (up to AP and lower college level) for our high school and college tutoring programs:
For Math:
AP Calculus AB/BC, Calculus II & III, Linear algebra, Mathematical Modeling, Multivariable Calculus, Concepts of Probability, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, Concepts of Real Analysis, Algebraic Structures,Actuarial Statistical model, Actuarial loss models
For Computer Science:
AP Computer Sciences A, AP Computer Science Principles and lower college level computer science courses.
The ideal candidate feels comfortable working with students using Java, JavaScript, Phython, and C/C++ etc.
For Economics:
AP Micro/Macroeconomics, College level AP Micro/Macroeconomics, Principles of Economics, Economic Analysis , Introduction to Statistical Methods, Financial Accounting,
For Business:
High school and college intro level business courses.
Ideally, be able to teach AP Macro/Micro Econ as well.
Other subjects we cover:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Literature
World History/US History/Canadian History/European History
Art History
Civics
French/Spanish
Finance
Accounting
And other higher level high school/lower level college subjects
Location: Remote/Flexible
Hours: Flexible 8-20 Hours per week
Usually classes are scheduled:
Weekday: after noon EST
Weekend: All day

What are the required qualifications?
MUST hold a BA or graduate degree from a top 30 university.
Those holding a PhD or and MA are encouraged to apply.
A real passion for education and desire to work with international students of different backgrounds, ages, and ability levels.
What are other desirable qualifications?
Classroom teaching experience at the high school or university level
Experience with high school curriculum design
One-on-one tutoring experience with high school or university students
Experience with online learning platforms
