– 7 years of experience in coordinating the procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment and supplies you will be able to utilize your expertise efficiently!
What’s in it for you: * Part time: Monday
– Friday: 4 hours a day (20 hours a week) * Pay rate: $25/hr.
* Location: Chatsworth, CA What you will be doing: * Coordinating all activities related to procurement of a product beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.* Analyzing the requirements of the product, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier and date commodity is needed* Assuring that the product is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price and meets the quality standards of the company.* Maintaining timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.* Investigating and/or interviewing potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements.* Negotiating the lowest possible cost for the product balanced against the optimum quality and schedule needs.* Assisting in resolving discrepancies with invoices and receiving documents The skills we are looking for: * Knowledge of QAD Manufacturing software, Excel, and MC Office Education Requirement: * Bachelor’s Degree or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
