Job Details: SENIOR PRODUCTION DESIGNER

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Production Senior Designer is a key role within the CNB Studio to ensure all collateral meets style and brand production standards. The Production Senior Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining master templates, technical design as applied to all collateral – brochures, one sheets, white papers, ads, and more. Must have experience in translating traditional print assets to digital platforms, ensuring accessibility standards and client usability. This role will be responsible for taking creative concepts and translating to additional elements and for problem solving how pre-approved content can best be applied to existing templates. In addition, this role will provide server archiving and maintenance, DAM process and implementation, and ongoing updates to internal procedures and accompanying documentation. Other technical duties can include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning and preflighting of multichannel assets to support client journeys and campaigns. May also responsible for archiving and updating graphic files and imagery. The role will have some interaction with AOR production to manage assets in development and archiving of files.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Acts as a brand ambassador ensuring all work aligns to brand style guide and positioning
  • Responsible for creation,maintenance and execution of departmental production standards for new and existing work to ensure on brand client experiences in all channels
  • Collaborates with Design Leads, Producers, Project Managers and other MPAD partners and production team to identify project goals and solutions
  • Responsible for ensuring the style guide is complete and up to date
  • Is responsible, takes pride and ownership of exceptional attention to detail and Quality Assurance, including legal disclosures
  • Enhances complex charts and graphs to be visually clear and on brand
  • Selects and applies on-brand photography to new collateral
  • Establishes priorities for assigned tasks for self and others and often works concurrently on multiple complex tasks.
  • Applies broad knowledge of prepress workflows, digital asset management, problem solving, designing and quality control to handle assigned workload with minimal supervision
  • Must have a full understanding of specs and how to package files accordingly for traffic
  • Identifies and facilitates opportunities for continuous improvement in process and service
  • Advise and improve upon existing design/production procedures to keep with current standards/technology and maintain studio efficiency/consistency
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must-Have*

  • *Minimum of 5 year experience in graphic design
  • *Minimum of 5 year experience in Adobe Design Software Suite
  • *Minimum of 5 year experience in print production

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite/Creative Cloud
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Comfortable tracking projects and tasks in Workfront or related tool
  • Excellent Mac skills
  • Must have excellent prioritizing and organizational skills, attention to detail and possess the ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Self-starter and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze potential solutions and use good sound judgment to make decisions
  • Must have strong Production skills
  • Proven leadership abilities demonstrated through high performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding
  • Strong commitment to ensuring quality and exceeding customer satisfaction expectations
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to partner and collaborate with business partners
  • Prefer: Candidates with experience in print to digital one sheets, white papers and brochures in financial industry.
