Organizational Change Specialist

Addison Group in Chicago is looking to hire an Organizational Change Specialist to enhance our rapidly growing corporate team.

This role is based out of our Chicago office and will be working in a hybrid capacity.

The Organizational Change Specialist focuses on implementing change management strategies and organizational-wide change communications.

Specifically, the person in this role will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology (e.g., implementation of Salesforce, Bullhorn).

Through effective strategies and communications, the Organizational Change Specialist will promote speedy adoption, more employee utilization, and proficiency with the changes.

Reporting to the VP of People Strategy.

Responsibilities:
· Implements and evaluates change management initiatives, processes, and interventions
· Provides direction, advice, and counsel to all levels of individuals within the organization.

· Enable the development, delivery, and management of key communications
· Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
· Support change management at the organizational level
· Execute the Change Champion Program to facilitate rapid adoption of change
· Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
· Coordinate efforts with other key stakeholders and specialists, including Learning and Development, IT, field employees, and third-party vendors.

· Support change adoption program
· Implement change readiness activities
· Implement adoption plans
· Run sustainment program including: Ongoing Champion program, Adoption Measurement, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Education
· 1-3 years’ relevant experience
· Bachelor’s degree required (major in Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O psychology, or related field)
· Change management certification or designation preferred
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
· Excellent active listening skills
· Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
· Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
· Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
· Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
· Collaborator, with the ability to work independently or with teams
· Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
· Self-starter and self-motivated, with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks to get the job done effectively
· Knowledge of how people go through a change and the change process
· Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
· Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
· Problem solving and root-cause identification skills
· Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
· Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Bullhorn a plus.
