Organ Ops Comp Specialist

Position Description: The Organ Operations Compliance Specialist (OOCS), in coordination with the Quality Systems Management, is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the OPO?s compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including federal, state, and local laws, as well as professional association and industry standards.

The primary responsibilities of the OOCS are to perform internal and external quality audits and as a QS Department liaison, work closely with Organ/Tissue Operations departments including Donor Allocation, Family Care Center, Family Care, Organ Procurement, and Surgical Recovery to ensure the OPO maintains a culture of quality and compliance while continuously improving process efficiencies.

Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, required, preferably in a scientific discipline.

Minimum 2-years QS/QA/RA auditing experience preferred.

Related experience working in medical device, pharma, tissue bank, or other regulated industry.

Certified Quality Auditor obtained within two years of employment.
