Office Coordinator

Seeking a receptionist/greeter for a privately owned (19 years in business), cage-free Doggie Daycare/Boarding facility in West Los Angeles. This will be a full-time position with an opportunity to learn dog behavior and handling techniques. The ideal candidate would have a background with animals and experience with customer relations. Experience in Kennel Connection software is a big plus, but not a requirement. We are seeking someone with availability for PM shifts (1-9 pm) and weekends (9-5).

Job Duties
– Meet and converse with clients in a friendly manner
– Answer phone calls while multitasking
– Manage paperwork
– Organize a workspace that is neat and easily manageable
– Communicate important information to staff and management
– Send email updates to clients and staff
– Book and schedule appointments in a prompt manner
– Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create and edit client information
– Ensure clients paperwork is thoroughly filled and accurate
– Occasionally supervise and manage a group of dogs

Qualifications

– A strong attention to detail
– Must be comfortable working with Windows (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
– Kennel Connection experience and/or the ability to learn new computer software quickly
– Excellent communication skills with customers and staff
– Availability for night shifts (1-9), weekend shifts (9-5) and holiday shifts
– A kind, welcoming disposition with excellent customer relation skills
– Familiarity with dog care and dog behavior
