Office Assistant

Ensure claims, medical records requests and subpoenas are filled and mailed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
Mail paper claims
Pull EOBs and attach to secondary claims
Pull Medical Records from various portals and EHRs
Assist with sorting/scanning duties
Assist with other clerical projects on an as needed basis
Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (e.g.

applying appropriate stamps, verifying addresses)
Arrange for express delivery when needed
Distribute mail to individuals or departments
Requirements
Must be able to commute to the office in Los Angeles, CA
A keen attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
A general hunger for knowledge
A general interest in medical billing industry
Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication and literacy skills
High school diploma preferred
