We are partnering with a fast-growing Freight Forwarder seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to join their team in New Jersey.
You will be responsible in finding resolutions to any transportation and documentation problems and working on the full shipping process.
Responsibilities; Responsible for the full shipping process Handling international shipping documentation Manage all aspects of the import process, including import customs entries Involved in international shipping from time of purchase order through the delivery of the cargo Coordinate shipping tasks to meet customer requirements Ensure customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met Book in approvals and process pre-alerts Prepare delivery orders for truckers Ensure invoices are completed Work alongside international team members Provide excellent customer service Skills Required; Global freight forwarding experience CargoWise experience Experience handling international shipments Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment High school degree or GED equivalent
