Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment, particularly Phillips and Siemens systems.
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with adult patients in a hospital environment
- Proficiency in a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including:
- Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, 3 Phase Bone Scans
- Whole Body & Limited Scans
- Liver Imaging, Liver Flow, Renal/Perfusion with Lasix
- Cerebral Blood Flow, Brain Scans
- Ventilation/Perfusion Scans
- Cancer Surveys, Uptake Scans
- Adenosine Infusion, Exercise/Rest-Single, Pharmacological Stress
- Ability to draw venous blood
- Start and maintain peripheral IVs
- Knowledge and practice of isolation precautions
- Safe storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
