Overview PURPOSE:As a Merchandising Specialist, you will represent consumer electronics brands at retail locations to complete multiple merchandising tasks. Your responsibilities will include placing signage, graphics, POP, placing and filling products on shelves and displays, placing or refreshing displays, product section resets. We offer paid training, a great hourly rate as well as paying drive time and mileage.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Sign in and check in with store personalAudit sections or displays, reset sections as per PLANOGRAM to include POP and pricing/fact tags Conduct standard merchandising project or program visitsAssemble cardboard shippersAdministrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling and reporting visits. Receive materials at home and take them to retail locations as requestedOther tasks as requested by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious merchandising or retail experience not required SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:Able to read schematics and correctly connect componentsWilling to take BDS Online training coursesMust be able to work Monday through Friday each week with some occasional weekend work if requested but not mandatoryMust be able to work 24 hours per week minimum if PT and 40 hours per week of FTMust utilize BDS APP for ReportingAbility to take clear photos and upload them into the online call form. Must be proficient with using and have a Smartphone/Tablet (Android OS 4.0 or Apple iOS 7.0 or higher) with an active data plan that has GPS compatibility. Capable of using a Smartphone/Tablet to report work and reference documents.Must have good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to travel outside of the market area to conduct outlying work (i.e.., 60+ miles with compensation)Must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of motor vehicle insuranceMust have the ability to drive on behalf of the Company, in compliance with Company guidelines; and have the ability to travel within a designated marketPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
