Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Capture Management Manager 2 in Woodland Hills, CA.This individual will lead capture-related activities for opportunities across a wide customer base, including the US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, US Army, DARPA, Industry partners and primes, and other DoD communities.The successful candidate will work closely with all of Northrop Grumman’s functional organizations including NGMS’ leadership team and other industry and government partners.
A successful candidate will be familiar with building an industry team and understand the challenges associated with outsider suppliers.
The candidate will be familiar with all aspects of a capture as highlighted below.This position will require up to 50% travel.Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Capture LeadershipOpportunity identification and shapingOpportunity qualificationBusiness case analysisDevelop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the navigator businessUnderstand the market competitive landscapeCustomer relationship management *Customer acquisition approach analysis and shapingProfessional relationship development and maintenance with key decision makersGovernment Relations collaboration on customer engagement strategies and executionFuture customer requirements analysis and planningCapture strategy development and executionCustomer and competitor assessmentsCongressional budgetary and appropriation analysisPrice-to-Win analysis and Offer designWorkforce planningTeammate/supplier selection and relationship managementDeveloping solutions compliant with customer requirementsDesign to cost considerationsContract negotiationsThreat identification and mitigationInternal briefings to the NG Mission Systems leadership teamEthicsEnsuring new business activity is carried out in accordance with government, customer, and Northrop Grumman policies, procedures, and processes.Relocation assistance, while not guaranteed, may be available for this position.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.7+ years’ experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development.Knowledge and experience with tactical missile opportunities with the Department of Defense.Knowledge of customer acquisition processes.Current/active and in scope periodic review Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).Proven experience with DoD capture and/or business development.Experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams.Experience in program planning, budget development and execution, workforce planning, risk management, and the implementation of project processes and controls.Current user and acquisition customer relationships.Current/active TS/SCI security clearance, preferred.
Secret clearance also acceptable.Salary Range: 140536 210804Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
