Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history.Navigation and Cockpit Systems BU in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) team, reporting to the SPM site lead.This position is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high quality parts to support our customers.

Tasks include:Act as POC on program teams by coordinating supplier performance management plan implementation through all program phasesReview supplier quality history and drive activities to improve performance through partnership, Return-To-Green plans, SCAR’s, etc.Analyses data for Mission Assurance Critical Action BoardLiaison to field supplier quality engineers (FSQE) for program related actions and informationMake decisions utilizing supplier quality risk appraisal toolsAssists with program cost estimate development related to supplier quality activitiesParticipates in customer and regulatory on-site quality auditsProvides input to critical supplier scorecardsSupports the maintenance of the approved supplier listTo be successful in this position, the candidate should possess the following characteristics:Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlinesAbility to influence and drive results without direct authority of personnelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical, planning, and presentation skills are requiredDemonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with othersSAP experienceRisk and opportunity management experienceBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM Field and 2+ years of relevant experience.Risk & Opportunity management experience.SAP experience.Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
