HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ASSISTANT LOS ANGELESPOSITION SUMMARY:Assist Human Resource Office with all administrative employee-related tasks.REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.
The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary.Primary duties:Assist HR Department with all administrative work in HR officeKeep all personnel files current and organizedAssist coordinators with scheduling interviewsAssist with recruitment and interview process, including reference and social media checksAssist coordinators with onboarding new hiresAssist coordinators with payroll as neededUpdate HRIS as neededFile documents into appropriate employee filesMaintain quality service by following school standardsProvide excellent customer service (employees)Conduct audits as neededAssist with employee badges and parkingAssist with annual performance reviewsDraft and send memos/ticker messages for staff and facultyComplete projects and tasks as assignedMaintain I9 documentation for employeesOther duties as assigned by the HR DepartmentKNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:Overall knowledge of HR functionsQuick learner and attention to detailShould have great planning and organizing skillsQuality control the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughnessDependability the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions and responds to management directionAble to maintain high level of confidentialityEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:1-3 years experience as HR AssistantCertification or Associates degree or pursuing education in HR fieldREPRESENTATIVE MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND/OR SOFTWARE USED:The following machines, tools, equipment and / or software are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position.
