A private family in Los Angeles (near the Beverly Hills neighborhood border) is seeking a live-out housekeeper/nanny to join their team in June or July (flexible on start date). The schedule will be Monday through Friday from about 7am to 7pm, with flexibility occasionally needed on weekends, for late nights, and for travel. The family has two children, ages 14 and 9 (the younger one splits time in this home and another).General job duties will include housekeeping on a team with the HM/executive housekeeper, cooking some basic meals for the four family members, and driving one of the children to and from school with a provided car, which is about a 1-hour drive each way. The property has three buildings, totaling 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms plus a gym. Cleaning duties are delegated by (and split with) the executive/lead housekeeper. The nature of the role is very dynamic, because apart from the school pick-ups and drop-offs, the job duties can change each day depending on the family’s schedule. The mother is a busy working mom in the entertainment industry, so her work schedule can be unpredictable and erratic, including some international travel, both long-term and short-term. The candidate must have a team-player attitude without an ego, must be proactive and act on tasks without being asked, and must also be a quick learner who’s comfortable taking direction when necessary. Someone kind, kid-friendly, energetic, and discreet will do best in the role.The family has two friendly dogs, so you must be comfortable interacting with them. The role requires someone travel ready, so an up-to-date passport and COVID vaccination are vital. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are also required, and someone familiar with driving in the LA area will do best.
