SummaryThe OSP 2 will report directly to the Regulatory Manager Field Operations.

The OSP 2 must have experience working on new Aerial OSP builds.

OSP 2 Fielder must be able to measure, survey, and record critical data from poles and thoroughfares.

OSP 2 must be proficient in G0 95, NESC and local utility standards.

OSP 2 must be able to provide Make Ready Construction Orders for all new and rebuilt aerial wire plant.2 years’ experience as in house Utility Engineer or Contract OSP Make Ready Engineer preferred.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be able to Identify Power and Communication Facilities and ownership on utility polesProvide field drawing of measured streets and ROW objects.Complete Pole Aerial Survey FormsMust be able to engineer new and existing stranded aerial plant with applicable make ready required to meet GO 95 and SOW.Review and correct any information on the Joint Pole Authorization that does not match actual field conditions.Make field meets with other utilities as well as private homeowners and developers on an as needed basis.Must be able to learn new forms and processes that are added to the programMust be able to operate Company Car safely and work independently in the field meeting daily per pole goalsMust be able to use I-pad (or similar) for Field inspection/Survey work and possess basic computer skillsMust be able to use measurement tools, safely access poles on uneven terrain and be able to work outside for long *all day periods.Must be able to work with residents, city, and customer in the field under all conditions.
