We operate regional facilities throughout the United States and have a network of Distributors covering the US, Mexico, and numerous foreign countries.We are seeking a to plan and coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
The ideal candidate is proactive, and a solution-oriented team member with experience in the manufacturing industry.
Essential Job Responsibilities* Translate projected forecasts and MTO demand into a production plan with a time a phased build schedule for assigned area(s).* Review and act upon MRP messages, including job ticket releases, rescheduling, expedite and cancel.* Analyze schedule delays and interruptions and adjust the schedule accordingly while working with the production team to minimize changes.* Establish KPIs to monitor adherence to the production schedule.* Establish and maintain safety stock levels for assigned product groups.* Working with IT assist in the refinement/enhancement of the ERP system as it relates to materials and operations.* Manage subcontract purchase orders as they relate to equipment manufacturing.* Plan intersite transfers in accordance with the company approved schedule.* Working closely with the inventory team, ensure accuracy of materials needed for the production process and spare parts sales.* Working closely with Purchasing, ensure enough raw materials are in stock to complete the plan.* Work with internal departments such as Finance, Receiving, Purchasing, Production and Inventory to resolve discrepancies.* Special projects and other duties as assigned.Requirements* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in business administration, material management, accounting, or similar field preferred.
* 3+ years working experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive experience in purchasing, inventory, planning, and MRP systems.
* Extensive knowledge of production scheduling, material requirement planning and lean manufacturing principles.
* Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Competent with Manufacturing Resource Planning functions of Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar Microsoft system), Word, Excel, Project and SharePoint.
* Excellent communication skills – Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus* Ability to manage multiple prioritiesPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
