Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services, Mission Assurance organization is seeking a talented Engineer, Mission Assurance to join our team.

This position may work remotely with occasional travel to events and meetings.

The selected individual will be well versed in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile.

Will define and monitor processes and metrics to ensure mission success of service lines.

Assures quality, risk management, customer satisfaction, reliability, and maintainability of service delivery.

Measures service line performance and risks and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.

The selected individual will provide Mission Assurance consultation and guidance to service line management and systems engineering to identify service line risks, tailor process requirements, and share best practices.

The candidate will participate / lead mission assurance assessments in project management, supplier quality, service management and escalate critical and/or recurring issues to appropriate levels of management Additional Responsibilities include:
• Ensure that all corrective measures are performed on-time and meet minimum requirements.
• Understand the requirements of a company policy, standard or process, and determine how best to apply it to a project, service, or quality/ compliance review recognizing when requirements are not being satisfactorily met and have the courage to challenge.
• Audit systems for deficiency identification and correction.
• Analyzes various datasets, such as customer, and employee feedback, perform trend and risk management, and lead efforts to ensure mission success
• Certify that Agile, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies are being practicedBasic Qualifications Principal Engineer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) related discipline and 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong leadership, assertiveness, facilitation, interpersonal and virtual communication skills
• Self-directed, and result driven team member accustom to working autonomously and with teams
• Experience problem solver comfortable leading process analysis, problem definition, root cause analysis
• Experience with interpreting complex data and processes and drive actions to completion
• Experience with creating and maintaining process owner documents (plans, procedures, work instructions, training bulletins, templates, workflows, etc.)
• Experience in software and IT Infrastructure Quality Assurance
• Knowledge of Project Management life-cycle principles
• Six Sigma Trained or Certified Qualifications: Sr.

Principal Engineer
• Same as above with 9 years of relevant professional experience Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in process improvement, data analytics, project management, metrics development, quality assurance, service management, and risk management
• Experience with Agile framework
• Experience with statistical analysis
• Experience or comfort working with senior leaders
• Experience with Visio or process modeling tools
• ITIL Training/Certification
