MISSIONThis position contributes to the success of The Los Angeles Athletic Club(‘Company,’A ‘Club’A) by creating positive experiences for every member and guest, every time they visit the Club by recruiting and selecting members that are in alignment with the Club’s values. This position is responsible for marketing the club at local community events, qualifying, and selecting high quality members.KEY RESULTS&TASKSA. Prospect New Members (Outbound) Efficiently in a Professional, Respectful, and Welcoming MannerA Represent the Club at relevant networking and community events.A Distribute information about LAAC at targeted residential and corporate buildings.A Host club mixer events to solicit new business (potential members).A Follow up with perspective members and distribute guest passes.A Continually network with current members to spark interest in referrals.B. Prospect New Members ( Inbound) Efficiently in a Professional, Respectful, and Welcoming MannerA Respond to phone, web and email leads within 24 hours; using proper templates and addressing questions thoroughly.A Address urgent messages immediately and, if appropriate, offer to connect the prospect with other relevant departments/managers.A Log leads into Zoho; include notes from conversation, complete contact information, and create follow up task reminder.C. Conduct Effective Clubhouse ToursA Set tour appointments with prospective members in advance; send confirmation email with digital membership packet.A Correspond with prospective members in a professional manner and explain full benefits and costs of the membership; pay extra attention to areas that best meet the member’s individual needs/interests.A After tour concludes: either start their application process or offer 2 guest passes and set specific time to follow up.D. Process Applications CorrectlyA Once a member has decided to sign up: coordinate completion of full membership application, present temporary membership card, and provide all final details of membership.A Maintain integrity and confidentiality of membership documents by securing property and not sharing sensitive and/or confidential information with anyone who does not have a business need for such information.A Input application into Northstar and collect/charge initiation payment in accordance with Club and Accounting guidelines.A Record member information to be cross-checked with Services Department at the end of each month.A Submit complete application to Credit Manager; be a liason between Credit Manager and applicant, assisting in obtaining any additional items needed from the applicant, as requested by the Credit Manager for approval.A Once application is complete: follow up by sending House & Grounds Rules, FAQ link, and New Member Information Email to each approved applicant.E. Continually Engage With Members and Club Employees to Promote Membership ReferralsA Stay highly visible in the club in order to interact with members and guests; promote Staff Member Referral Program to employees.A Log important member interactions in Zoho or Northstar (Ticklers).A Be able to explain the guest policy properly and, if applicable, give guest passes to member’s prospective guests.A Keep a database on competitive club offerings and have the ability to answer all questions.A Promote goodwill and positive energy throughout the membership experience and with all Club staff.A Always update Supervisor and Club management on prospect feedback and pipeline of new members.Education, licenses, & certificationA Ideal: _4_years of experience in same or similar positions in the Fitness, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage industryA Required: High School Diploma or GED EquivalentA Ideal: Bachelor’s College Degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant area.A Ideal: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.essential qualificationsA Required: At least eighteen (18) years of age.A Required: Regular and punctual attendanceA Ideal: Bi-lingual oral, speech, and writing skills in English and Spanish or other language is an asset in this positionA Required: Travel (by vehicle and plane) for business, training, and/or development, including overnight trips.A Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsA Required: Ability to demonstrate positive conflict-resolution skillsA Required: Ability to network and connect well with all individualsA Required Travel for business purposes, including overnight travelA Required Computer Experience: proficient Microsoft Office programs, OutlookA Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey message clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.A Required Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.A Required Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervisionA Required Strong analytical skills.A Required High attention to detail and accuracyA Required: Strong organizational skillsA Required: Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner.A Required: Ability to elicit and accept constructive criticism.Job Type: Full-timePay: $31.25 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Commission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:in similar position: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
