Eaton Aerospace Group located in Los Angeles; CA (near Glendale metro) has an opening for a Receiving Clerk (Material Handler A). The LA facility has approximately 250 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Material Handler A reports to the Logistics & Materials Supervisor. This position is responsible for receiving incoming freight, performs receipt transactions within the MFG/Pro QAD software system, and reports discrepant shipments via Cargo Claims process. The Material Handler A contributes to a work team environment and demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Promotes teamwork & partnership and performs daily functions within the company safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Supports the focus of zero defects as well as right-the-first-time attitude. Works with Logistics & Materials Supervisor to ensure implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed these requirements as well as customer expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to read and write in English.

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Minimum 2 years experience in receiving and inventory control in a Manufacturing environment.

Minimum 2 years experience using Microsoft Office programs, Excel, and Word, etc.

Relocation is not offered for this role. Candidates must reside within a 50mile radius of the Los Angeles, CA facility (zip code 90039) to be considered.
