What you’ll do
As the Material Handler, you will safely move material from one production area to another via forklift. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Use safe procedures for loading and unloading production material.
- Accurately measure materials, confirm, and complete necessary paperwork as needed.
- Recognize product flaws.
- Comply with company safety requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of all grades and specifications within our standard product line.
- Complete understanding of schedule and requirements as a result of management direction.
- Adhere to Corporate Safety and Procedure Policies and maintain ISO 9002 standards.
Job Requirements:
As a Material Handler, you should you have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Lift truck experience, certification a plus.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift position (2:00pm – 10:30pm).
- Must be able to read a tape measure with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions with little supervision through to completion.
- Ability to operate one or more types of fork trucks with safety being complied foremost.
- Ability to operate all handling equipment. Understand change notices and inventory control.
The Material Handler will work:
Second Shift – 2:00pm – 10:30pm
