A little about this position:

  • Manages and coaches the Masters Team (ski racing program for adults), oversees and communicates with the coaching staff.
  • Plans and implements the training/competition  program.
  • Provides feedback and works closely with adult athletes in a group setting and on an individual basis.
  • Is involved in any aspect of event/race/training production.
  • Sets up safety fencing for race courses and training areas prior to the event. 
  • Tears down gates, fencing, signage etc. as required at the close of the day or the end of training and/or race events.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent experience.   
  • USSA certified coach, PSIA instructor certification, a minimum of 5 years of coaching and/or ski teaching experience required. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with racers, race officials, coaching staff, athletes and the ski area guest.  
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary World Cup racing technique
  • Knowledge of race procedures and regulations.  
  • USSA and Masters membership required.
