We are currently seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a Full-Time position for our on-site facility in Los Angeles, CA.
Shift: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week

Description:
- Mammography is a specialized modality of radiography. In mammography, a low dose of radiation is used with a high-contrast film to produce images of breast tissue. Mammogram x-rays are used to detect lumps and abnormalities in the breast, many of which can be found up to two years earlier than can be discovered by a physical examination.
Essential Functions:
- Responsive to the needs of others by maintaining professional behavior in all interactions towards patients & co-workers
- Demonstrates an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional & chronological maturation process in delivery of services to patients of the age group served
- Exercises clinical judgment that conforms to established standards
- Documents clinical activities in a timely, comprehensive & accurate manner
- Observes all organizational, regional, medical service area & Diagnostic Imaging department policies & procedures
- Utilizes effective communication skills
- Meets productivity standards achieved by peers within the department
- Maintains equipment, supplies & work area in accordance with department guidelines
- Explains procedure to the patient, verifies patient history & confirms appropriateness of ordered exam/procedure
- Positions & immobilizes patient in order to obtain screening and diagnostic image(s) of the patients’ breast
- Recognizes adverse reactions or changes in patient condition & reacts appropriately
Job Requirements:
- MUST have a Minimum of Two (2) years’ of work experience
- Associate degree or Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology
- State of California CRT License
- State of California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License
- State of California Mammographic Radiologic Technology License
- Certification (ARRT)(R)(M)
- Digital Mammography Certification
- CPR Card from American Heart Association OR American Red Cross.
- Current PPD/TB or Chest X-Ray (within last 12 months)
- MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B – Vaccination Records or Titer
