Mammographic Technologist – Per Diem
The Mammographic Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation and quality control of mammographic equipment and other equipment and devices as appropriate.

The Per Diem Mammographic Technologist performs all technical aspects of radiographic procedures including:
Providing quality services to client facilities and patients while working in an independent and professional manner
Ability to explain the procedures to the patient
Maintains skills in order to complete duties in a timely and efficient manner
Operating radiographic equipment in an efficient manner in order to produce diagnostic radiographs
Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate
Demonstrating proficiency in performing all breast imaging procedures to include breast interventional procedures
Develop mammographic films and match with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation
Assisting in the maintenance and compilation of statistical data.
Obtaining and evaluating patient-related information in terms of patient needs
Demonstration of knowledge of age-related information to produce appropriate images
Preventing the transfer of infection and blood borne contaminants
Operates mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices safely in accordance with equipment and facility guidelines
Complying with quality and quantity criteria of client facility and completing all assigned work
Complying with policies and procedures of client facility and Quik Travel Staffing.
Maintains compliance with client facility, Federal, State and County regulations

Job Requirements for our Per Diem Mammographic Technologist
Current California Department of Health License/Certification as a Mammographic Radiologic Technologist
Current ARRT Certification in Radiography and Mammography
American Heart Association BLS
Minimum 5 years experience, Mammo count’s CEUs
Two Professional References
Passing Score on Quik Travel Staffing Radiology Examination and Skills Checklist
LA Fire Safety Card
Certificate of Health stating the ability to perform the functions of the position
Able to work independently while striving for the best in patient care
