Title: LPN FLSA: NON-EXEMPT Shift: Full Time Job Summary: Institutes appropriate nursing intervention which might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complication Makes daily resident rounds to interview physical and emotional status implementing any required nursing interventions Responds to resident and family concerns and ensures that each concern is documented, and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff Coordinates admission, discharge, and transfer of residents Ensure that nurse on duty is aware of all previous shift reports and keeps charge nurse and others, as appropriate, informed about resident status Prepares, administers, and documents medications following accepted practices Consults with licensed or registered nurse, physician, or licensed independent practitioner Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated by consulting with the appropriate licensed practitioner Other duties as assigned Qualifications: the must haves & Nice to haves to be successful in this role Must have a current licensure as an LVN or LPN in the state of employment At least two (2) years of experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care CPR certification a plus Excellent bedside manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with an electronic health record system Benefit & Perks: Benefits eligibility starting 1st of the month following hire date for Full Time Employees Robust benefit plan offerings including Medical (PPO and HAS Plans), Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, HSA, FSA, etc.
