LOAN ADMINISTRATOR LEAD – PBB
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Oversee the loan administration activities for a Personal & Business Banking region or assigned team. Manage work flow, loan administration activities and processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency in overall documentation quality. Acts as a functional supervisor to the PBB loan administration team while responsible for maintaining good working relationships across multiple departments; lines of businesses and PBB Regions to ensure quality service and loan turnaround is delivered to the PBB division.
What you will doOversee and prioritize the loan administration workflow (e.g., loan documentation requests and booking). Delegate and assign work based on experience, availability and complexity.
Reviews credit documentation for completeness, conformance to Bank policy and conformance to the approved CRR to protect Bank’s interest in the credit relationship.
Ensures and participates in the execution of in-line quality assurance procedures are practiced on all transactions including providing back-up support to SBA Loan Administration team as needed.
Maintains data integrity, productivity and quality control in accordance with established standards. Responds to questions or inquiries from internal and external clients concerning documentation policies and procedures.
Provides technical guidance to, and reviews the work of less experienced loan administrators. Ensures activities are in compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and CNB policies and procedures.
Functions as an advisor regarding tasks, projects, and loan administration activities. Is involved in daily operations when required to meet deadlines or to resolve complex problems.
Identifies process issues for improvement and completes all special projects as requested.
Monitors performance of assigned team members, gives on-going performance feedback and conducts effective performance appraisals. Trains, coaches, counsels and provides general direction and guidance to staff.
Coordinates and follows up on loan requests between CBS units and the City Loan Center and ensures all documents, reports, correspondence, etc. are complete, accurate and delivered on time.
Interfaces with Relationship Managers and Managers on complex documentation issues to ensure documentation is explained to the client.
Ensures each team member meets established goals and objectives
Must-Have*
5 years working in a commercial bank or other lending institution.
5 years working with commercial loans
3 years loan documentation/servicing experience
Skills and Knowledge
Significant industry knowledge with a minimum of 5 – 7 years in a commercial bank or other lending institution
Demonstration of increased levels of responsibility including supervisory duties over a small to mid-sized loan administration team.
Demonstration of increased levels of responsibility in loan documentation or loan servicing with an emphasis on commercial loans.
Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of loan documentation, servicing and loan systems.
Excellent organizational, project and time management skills.
Ability to present ideas, obtain concurrence and resolve conflicts within the supervised unit.
CompensationStarting base salary: $92,114 – $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
