LNG Project Engineer

External Description Audubon is currently seeking a LNG Project Engineer to join our team in our Houston, TX Office.

The LNG Project Engineer will be responsible for applying experience and expertise to lead, coordinate and complete activities ensuring consistency with client and company strategy, commitments and goals.

Reports administratively to the Business Unit Development Manager and functionally to the assigned Project/Program Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Reviews and provides direction for the development of LNG liquefaction facility EPC deliverables focusing on process and mechanical elements.

Ability to keep multiple internal and external team(s)/contractor(s) on task Ensures that design document reviews are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.

Inclusive of checking activities.

Continuous monitoring of the Contractor’s performance and compliance project technical requirements Participate in key design review and ensure design review readiness Monitors changes against baseline scope Coordinating answers to technical and commercial queries from client and contractors Responsible for maintaining technical integrity of the engineering and design for the facility Ability to complete project tasks independently Ability to identify technical and commercial issue(s) and is able to solve the issue(s) independently or in a team to maintain schedule, budget and quality Reviews or creates meeting minutes from project meetings Responsible for input to project reporting Promotes values and ideals of company Ability to facilitate internal and external project meetings Demonstrates exemplary communication and organizational skills Coordinates MOC efforts Develops/adjusts project support team level work flow processes Facilitates multi-disciplinary communication Resolves audit deficiencies Please note that these functions are subject to change on a per project basis EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS : Required: BS Engineering (or higher) Over 20 years of experience in project engineering, management and/or operations role for oil/gas, refinery, LNG and/or petrochemical projects Experience dealing with regulatory authorities, contractors and vendors Working knowledge of industry codes Knowledge of construction project’s site safety and HSE requirements PE license recommended Basic understanding of multi-discipline deliverables, procurement and construction activities Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong team leadership capabilities Capable of reviewing and approving deliverables for consistency and presentation Can develop and manage manpower requirements for projects Capable of coordinating project schedules Capable of coordinating cost estimates Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Working at Audubon Client-focused.
