Cozen O’Connor seeks a trial attorney with at least 7 years of law firm litigation experience to join the firm’s Strategic Risk & Complex Litigation Practice Group in the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated trial experience in the areas of complex litigation, construction, mass torts, toxic tort/environmental claims, and products liability. Candidates must have a proven record of trying cases through verdict, be capable of working independently and collaboratively, have excellent academic credentials, and demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills. Admission to CA required. For candidates with four to seven years of experience, the salary range for the position is $180,000-$195,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications. When insured clients are in need of experienced and aggressive trial counsel to handle their high exposure litigation, catastrophic losses, and “bet the company” cases, they turn to the attorneys in Cozen O’Connor’s Strategic Risk & Complex Litigation practice area, a subset of the firm’s Global Insurance Department. Cozen O’Connor’s strategic risk and complex litigation attorneys handle all manner of litigation on behalf of sophisticated corporate entities, including class actions, mass torts, and consolidated federal multidistrict litigation. The Firm’s Strategic Risk litigators have experience in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels around the country and are routinely selected to serve as lead trial counsel and/or national coordinating counsel.
