We have several Powerhouse Law Firms in different areas of law that are hiring talented Attorney’s. All the firm’s have a robust caseload’s, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries, and we are looking for qualified entry-level and mid-level associates to join our expanding team. At this time, we seek to fill several Attorney positions with candidates who have relevant experience and stellar academic backgrounds.

Candidates should have at least one (1) year of experience practicing law (with a preference for multiple years of experience), and must be authorized to work in the United States and licensed to practice law in California at the time of applying for the position (no exceptions will be made). The ideal candidate will also have strong academic credentials from a top tier law school.

Litigation experience is desired (as opposed to transactional or in-house experience), which includes experience in drafting pleadings and various types of motions and briefs, oral advocacy and court appearances, interviewing witnesses, and conducting or defending depositions. Prior Litigation or Transactional experience prosecuting or defending complex litigation on all levels is preferred, but not required if the applicant can demonstrate significant, relevant litigation experience in other areas of the law. Candidates must also be able to travel frequently.

Job Requirements:

  • Assist with pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Provide reports on pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Managing pre-litigation and litigation (including outside counsel)
  • Review litigation and legal documents
  • Work on complex litigation caseload
  • Prepare litigation or regulatory filings
  • Handle assigned litigation cases from inception through trial
  • Attending depositions and other litigation-related work
  • Provide litigation support to outside counsel
  • Retain and manage outside litigation counsel
  • Coordinate outside counsels’ handling of various business litigation matters including patent infringement litigation, trademark infringement litigation, vendor disputes and other commercial disputes
  • Evaluate potential litigation matters and advise on exposure
  • Work closely with outside counsel to develop and implement strategy on pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Manage claims, including potential claims and litigation
  • Researching and drafting tenant defaults and various litigation matters
  • Creating and maintaining weekly litigation reports
  • Provide onsite legal support during any litigation trials
  • Manage all aspects of commercial litigation (and pre-litigation disputes), including: analysis of disputes, litigation strategy, preparation and review of pleadings, facilitation
  • Direct claims litigation against insureds and Shelter
  • Creating and ensuring adherence to litigation budgets
