Linen Control Attendant – Part Time – Disneyland Resort

This position supports the Hotels Food & Beverage, Lodging and Banquet departments, working with clean and soiled linen performing activities such as: sorting, stacking, transporting, cleaning and assisting production area as needed.Linen Control Attendants receive a starting rate of $17.85 per hour.Responsibilities : All positions include the following responsibilities, but are not limited to:Assist with opening of new linenMay be deployed to assist other areas based on business needs Linen Control Delivers & pick-ups linens from within the ResortRetrieves clean linen and stages it in storage area and keep storage area cleanPrepares daily invoices of deliveriesReports unsafe conditions and malfunctioning equipment to Assistant Manager or Working LeadsAssist production areaRemoval of linen carts to trailer and assist pulling carts to laundry are Delivery support Assists with loading, unloading and delivery of linen around the ResortRemoval of linen carts to trailer.

Assist pulling carts to laundry are Soil Sorter Sorts soiled linen into each classification weight and load into rail for washingMaintains, cleans and clears chute of soil when assigned to a towerTurns in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping DepartmentHelps to sort all rejected linenKeeps work area clean and reports any unsafe conditionsPulling/pushing carts from chutes to trailers/laundry area Custodial Responsible for keeping the laundry facility cleanCollects debris throughout the production floor areaSweeps and mops and buffs all floorsUses high-pressure blower to remove dust and lint from machinery and surrounding areasEmpties all trash cans and vacuums officeCleans light fixtures, vents, tops of machinery, walls and overhead structuresEmpties reclamation tank residue into trashTransports empty chemical drums to back storage areaDisposes of boxes and palletsBasic Qualifications : Utilization of radio for communication with Management/Team MembersAble to work in a fast paced environmentStrong verbal communication skillsAble to apply Safety in Motion TechniquesReport any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repairMust support all other Cast Members working on the teamPreferred Qualifications: Previous Hotel Washer/Dryer experience or experience in a similar environmentPrevious Warehouse or similar type work or experiencePrevious experience working in a highly repetitive job i.E.
