Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:Underwrite Ironshore’s storage tank Environmental Liability coverage policy as part of a team of underwriting professionals.
This would include a combination of formal training, on-the-job mentoring and self-study of policy forms, underwriting guidelines and other relevant documents.Assist with the underwriting and servicing of new and renewal accounts.Risk analysis, underwriting documentation, rating, quoting, binding, booking, policy and endorsement issuance and servicing.Develop broker relationships through strategic sales and marketing.Service and maintain well documented underwriting files.Bachelor’s degree1-4 years of experience as an underwriter or broker working on a high volume product such as Contractors Environmental Legal Liability or Storage Tanks with an Environmental Liability insurance company or Environmental Liability brokerage.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Must be positive, self-motivated, well organized and able to comfortably work independently as well as part of a teamBachelor’s Degree13
