Level 4 Sr Principal Cost Schedule Control Analyst with Security Clearance

Northrop Grumman has an opening for either a level 4 Sr Principal Cost Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located on site in Redondo Beach, CA with partial telework after training is complete. This Sr. Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst position will be the lead interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements. This individual will have an excellent understanding of Earned Value and Earned Value concepts. Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks include: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, preparation of cost report and preparation and/or review of performance measurement variance analysis, development and analysis of estimates to complete. Ensures that contractual changes are incorporated into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Reviews and approves changes to performance measurement baseline as required. Essential Functions:
* Fact-finding and negotiation support
* Perform analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
* Responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting
* Prepares financial inputs to internal reports and presentations
* Maintains accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
* Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management
* Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
* The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting
* Perform cost assessments to identify and mitigate program risks
* Candidate incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract/task in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselinesBasic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of Accounting, Financial Analysis, Earned Value Management and/or Business Management experience or a Master’s degree with 8 years of stated experience
* Working knowledge of Microframe Program Manager (MPM), SAP, and COBRA systems
* Microsoft Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
* Active Security Clearance
* Aerospace/Defense industry experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field

Salary Range: $103,900 USD – $155,900 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
