Job Summary
The Loan Operations department is seeking a motivated and talented Lending & Operations Associate
(Loan Closer).
This role will be responsible for supporting the Closing team within the Arixa platform.
The primary focus of this position will be to coordinate with title, escrow, 3rd parties, and internal departments to ensure that loans are closed on time and with all conditions met and documented.
A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and top-notch customer service skills to provide our borrowers with white glove service throughout the closing process.
This position will provide the candidate with an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the entire private lending process.
The candidate must understand and articulate the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the loan closing process.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Order and review preliminary title reports
Coordinate with escrow, title, and other third-party vendors to meet target funding dates
Prepare and submit indemnity packages to Title
Coordinate with loan processors, originators, and underwriters to ensure all closing conditions are collected and documented
Correspond and coordinate with borrowers to ensure a smooth transaction and an excellent borrower experience
Prepare and review loan documents, loan modifications, and lenders instructions
Review the files and closing checklists
Confirm wiring instructions, and fund loans
Update Salesforce to ensure data integrity
Provide white glove customer service to our borrowers and fellow team members
Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements
BA/BS degree preferred but not required
Proficiency in the loan process
2+ years of loan closing experience
Real Estate license is a plus
Strong computer skills
