The initial primary focus of this position is to support our Partner Operations team by overseeing the subcontracting process with our accounts and subcontractors. To fully represent Point B in the contracting process and drive the most optimal contractual outcomes, the Legal Contract and Compliance Analyst will need to develop a deep understanding of our mission, vision, values, culture, business model, and brand.

 The Legal Contract and Compliance Analyst may also participate in our business insurance annual renewal process.

This person may also get involved in additional projects as requested by the Legal Contract and Compliance Manager. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:Serve as initial point of contact for legal requests for Partner OperationsSupport the Partner Operations Director in reviewing of all contract matters when engaging our subcontracting partners Manage the process of signing mutual non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with prospective subcontracting partnersManage and negotiate our master subcontractor agreement (MSA) with prospective subcontracting partners Manage the work order process for subcontractor onboarding between Point B and our subcontractor partner, including all applicable flow down and compliance with our end client MSA Review end client MSA documents for applicable flow down for subcontractorsDocument subcontractor specific instructions for the client in the Partner Operations client specific instruction set for future reference Determine if subcontractors need to assign additional agreements, such as business associate agreements, to be compliant with end client agreements Manage the contract routing, signatures, and storage of contractsParticipate in the review of other contracts as directed by the Legal Contract and Compliance ManagerServe as an initial point of contract with answering business insurance questions and reviewing business insurance language in contracts, working closely with our benefits broker to resolve questionsParticipate in the implementation of our DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system in 2022 Develop the “metadata” for our contracts and make sure executed contracts with metadata are stored in our CLM systemCreate and manage Partner Operations subcontracting info, documents, and templates in CLMManage and implement improvements to Point B subcontracting templatesSupport response to RFP process by filling out relevant sections of customer questionnairesCoordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to discovery requests WHAT WE OFFER:The opportunity to affect the learning approach for our firm’s future.The chance to impact the journey of our employees’ growth and development.An environment that encourages you to identify new opportunities and the support to make it happen.The opportunity to build and be part of a fun and collaborative culture with teams that are as passionate about their communities as they are about their work. WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:    Bachelor’s Degree plus 3+ years contract management experience, professional services firm experience preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsProven ability to work with cross-functional teams to assess needs, request clarification as needed, and provide creative, resourceful solutionsEffective at building networks and cultivating relationshipsInnovative and entrepreneurial tendenciesPassion for building, modeling, and supporting our cultureStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of company management, internal customers and stakeholders, external customers, and outside counselAbility to demonstrate professional, appropriate responses in confidential situationsStrong organizational skills that result in consistent volume and quality of output as well as the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentexperience with Contract Lifecycle Management systems preferred THE KIND OF PEOPLE WE LOOK FOR:Ability to operate independently with limited supervisionAbility to conduct research on a variety of topicsProficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with DocuSign a plus. Solid project management skillsInnate problem solvers who want to grow in a flexible, collaborative cultureAbility to work under pressure while navigating ambiguity and resolving conflictsAbility to travel on an exception basisAbility to work from homeAbility to work non-standard work hours when necessaryAbility to work flexible hours to support different time zones and emergency requestsAbility to work independently and/or as part of a team; ability to motivate selfAbility to work accurately with close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information YOUR OFFICE HOME BASE:Any Point B Office Location#LI-PB#ELINTRIGUED TO LEARN MORE?When you apply for this role, your information will be personally reviewed by our talent acquisition team (not by a robot).
