We are a law firm seeking a Secretary or Office Assistant to join our team!
You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
We’re full-service general litigation and appellate law firm in all areas of law, looking for someone to assist the lawyer staff with clerical matters as well as administrative functions for the senior lawyers at our Century City office.The ideal candidate is someone who is detail oriented, dedicated, willing to learn and works well with others.

Responsibilities:
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Greet and assist onsite guests
Organize legal documents, filing documents (or preparing them for storage), preparing documents, familiarity with an electronic filing system, prepare exhibits, calendar and be on the lookout for court deadlines
Conduct legal search independently
Coordinate with vendors, process servers, court clerks, and court reporters
Answer inbound phone calls and assist with other administrative duties
Develop and implement organized filing systems
Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a law office, office administration or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Patience and tact, able to work with all kinds of clients
Ability to absorb large amounts of complex information
High level of accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
