Legal Assistant

O’Hagan Meyer is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join its team in Woodland Hills.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the litigation field and preferably has worked in practice areas of Labor & Employment, D&O, Insurance Defense and class & collective actions.

Primary Duties Include but are not limited to:
Drafting and finalizing correspondence including formatting, proof reading and spell checking Drafting, Editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts Maintaining attorney calendars and deadlines Scheduling meetings, depositions, conference calls, etc.

File Maintenance Legal Research Expense Reports Time Entry

Ideal candidate should have a very strong understanding of Federal, State and Local court rules and procedures, excellent computer skills with knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel and MS Office 2010/2016, including Outlook; experience with Juris is a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; ability to work independently as well as with the team; exceptional organizational skills.
