We are an employee rights law firm with that represents plaintiffs throughout California.

Since we opened our doors in early 2018, we have grown to 10 employees and take on individual and class action employment cases against the biggest companies.

Every one of our employees is essential to our success and a valued member of the team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, efficient administrative assistant/intake assistant to join our team.

Successful candidates will project our firm’s values by being empathetic, service-oriented, and professional.

Skills in a language other than English are preferred but not required.

Your duties would include:
Initial case screening, including initial phone interviews Drafting engagement and retainer agreements Managing intake and referral databases Processing incoming and outgoing mail Answering and handling phone calls and inquiries from opposing counsel and prospective clients Miscellaneous office tasks needed to run a law firm

Applicant qualifications include:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and SharePoint; ability to format legal documents and assemble document parts for uniformity of presentation; advanced knowledge of Word Styles and formatting features is preferred, but training can be provided Ability to quickly and accurately proofread and review work product for formatting and typos Familiarity with working in template documents Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to quickly learn relevant legal principles Ability to demonstrate sound ethics, judgment, and maintain the confidentiality of information Ability to relate to people from varied backgrounds and fields of work

Candidates with at least a year of experience working at a civil litigation firm are preferred, but candidates with less experience and a strong interest in the legal field or labor rights are also encouraged to apply.
