Job Description:
Candidates located in or near the Baton Rouge surrounding areas will report to campus 50%.

Candidates outside the Baton Rouge area and within Louisiana may be required to report to campus 20%.

Qualified out of state candidates may be considered for fully remote, however in state is preferred.

The Learner Concierge reports to the Retention Manager.

This position partners with learners across their time in LSU Online programs, serving as the primary point-of-contact for learners in fully online programs.

The Learner Concierge provides caring learner support, including coordination of university logistics behind the scenes so that the learner has a seamless enrollment, registration, and learning experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality learner support, valuing learners as respected customers.

Proactively handles logistics for online learners, including coordination of admissions, registration and enrollment, financial aid and graduation concerns, all in close collaboration with those individual Colleges, the Graduate School, Admissions, Financial Aid, and other applicable departments.

Owns learner issues, solves challenges, and always closes the loop with the learner.

Communicates constantly with constituent departments.

Coordinates closely to ensure full solutions.

Utilizes technology systems to track the student journey, including a CRM, LMS, and other systems.

Participates in continual professional development, working to ensure high levels of customer service excellence.

Other duties may be assigned.

Some travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience in customer service or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.

Special or Physical Qualifications:

In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of an emergency or closure.

Due to the nature of this position and/or position responsibilities this position shall be subject to drug/alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67.
