**Job Description**We are seeking a lead writer for The New York Times’s California Today newsletter, a key and high-profile platform for reaching one of our biggest and fastest-growing audiences.
This person should be an experienced reporter who has a deep affinity for California and the people who live there, with the ability to write with a conversational voice across multiple beats, including politics, business, tech and culture.
Experience with daily deadlines and a collaborative spirit are essential.
We are looking for someone eager to forge strong relationships with reporters and editors throughout the newsroom.
