Job SummaryAs a Warehouse Lead/Trainer you will be the face of CRL by training all functions related to our warehouse employees. The Trainer’s focus is to deliver outstanding employee experience, best practices, and safety. The Trainer will be a mentor to all new employees and help create and demonstrate a culture of engagement and positivity. Essential Duties And Responsibilities· Effectively deliver training courses via a classroom and hands-on learning environment to include specific systems, applications, and procedures.· Update current courses and training material to reflect changes in technology and/or procedures as it applies to the warehouse environment.· Training deliverables include all aspects of warehousing activities such as packing, picking orders, metering, building pallets, and use of carts and pallet jacks.· Supports the learning and development of specific projects and tasks.· Continuously drives development and training initiatives aligned with our development strategy· Responsible for training and onboarding of new hired individuals and those inducted through job rotation activities by ensuring that they comprehend warehouse processes.· Supports/conducts follow up evaluations. Holds audits to measure effectiveness of training and recommend content/delivery improvements.· Delivers presentations of current training evaluations and progress to management and leaders.· Strong organizational skills· Technical System Training – Initiates training for future SAP platform.· Promotes safety awareness and proper ergonomics in material handling.· Write SOPs and deliverables for workplace efficiency and safety· Works closely with the warehouse managers to ensure working procedures, applications, technology, and systems are up to date.· Drives a culture of engagement and positivity QualificationsThis job requires an individual who can partner with the Warehouse Manager and Safety Team to ensure all team members are aligned with an uncompromising commitment to safety and on time deliverables. The individual in this position can work independently and provide progress reports as needed. Requirements / Education / Experience· High school diploma· Experience in a warehouse for 5-10 years· Effective communication skills English/Spanish· Ability to work independently· Basic computer skills Equipment · Issued safety equipment and other equipment as assigned Safety · To avoid injuries to hands, back and neck, proper ergonomics should be maintained while working at workstation. Work Environment · Duties may involve being in a warehouse environment where noise levels can be moderate to high and be subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).· Chemicals, dust, pollen and other typical airborne particulate matter are present within the atmosphere of the warehouse floor and may create some odors in the warehouse. The Company, in an effort to provide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment, limits exposure to chemicals through written procedures, engineering controls and PPE.· While the chemical exposure and odors are under acceptable levels set by OSHA and the WCB, they nevertheless, can be smelled and are handled according to the company’s hazardous communication program.
