Shared Imaging is looking for a Full Time Lead PET/CT Technologist in the Southern California region.
Work Schedule:
- 3, 12-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts

Essential Functions:
- Act as the Lead PET/CT Technologist for operational activities associated with Mobile and Full-Time contracts within assigned territories. Assist Regional Supervisor/Manager with their supervisory responsibility for Technologists and Technologist-Aides that support Shared Imaging’s customers in the region. Assist Regional Supervisor/Manager in supplying customers with complete and accurate performance and regulatory documentation of all information contractually required.
- Ensure Shared Imaging meets the standards set forth by our customers and follows all policies and procedures set by the customers and agreed to by Shared Imaging.
- Build collaborative, working relationships with peers, co-workers, Supervisor, Manager and Customer staff to enhance customer service and engagement.
- Assist in the maintenance of radiation exposure documentation and be a leader in safety & compliance.
Duties will include:
- Ensure compliance binders are up to date on each trailer. Escalate any binders that are not compliant
- Serve as a backup tech for planned or unplanned PTO
- Create an optimal schedule for techs and tech aids on a regular basis
- Annual protocol review for each location and be responsible for physician signatures
- Ensure and facilitate employee training and new employee orientation for both technologists and technologists assistants with documentation.
- Play an active role in employee recruitment and retention.
Requirements:
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills

- Experience in contributing to a positive working environment with peers and management
- Above average skill-level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the US healthcare industry, diagnostic imaging trends and technology.
- Graduate of an approved radiology technology program and is ARRT registered by an approved registry organization
- NMTCB/CT – or – ARRT (N)
- BLS/CPR Certification
- California State License plus venipuncture
- Ability to start IV’s
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a PET/CT Technologist capacity
- Travel to local facilities, based on location/s

This is a non-exempt hourly position with possible earnings of $152k – $163k/year with a $20,000 sign-on bonus, plus relocation and travel allowance for longer commutes.
The hourly range for this role is $70/hr. to $75/hr., with daily guaranteed overtime (3, 12-hour shifts OR 4, 10-hour shifts) however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
