Your role and impact 98point6 is looking for a credentialing specialist to help ensure our practitioners have the required certification, licenses and background to provide high-quality care to our patients.
In addition to performing credentialing, you may also work to license practitioners in multiple states to support our nationwide services.
You will have the opportunity to help us improve our processes and metrics, contribute to our training library and help with license maintenance projects.

Responsibilities Ensuring timely and effective credentialing, including certifying credentialing application is complete, compiling credentialing files and obtaining verifications and references, etc.
Evaluate and assess application and verification information to identify any red flags Track information related to credentialing, updating it in a timely fashion and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally Meticulously enter credentialing-related practitioner information into the database.
Coordinate credentialing review meetings and agendas, including minutes and follow-up action; present files to the credentialing committee Maintain credentialing processes and materials with the utmost confidentiality, while working to Relentlessly Improve and increase effectiveness and efficiency Maintain rosters with payers, per the requirements of each payer As needed, support licensing to obtain necessary state licenses by carefully submitting or mailing application materials Use problem-solving skills to resolve any arising conflicts or issues Develop positive working relationships with internal teams and practitioners, as well as with state licensing boards, employers and references Assist as needed with additional administrative or other projects Qualifications 3 years of credentialing-related work in a fast-paced office setting Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credentialing Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, manage multiple duties and priorities, and maintain high standards for accuracy, productivity and confidentiality Ability to function as a member of a team, leading and communicating within the scope of the position to managers and practitioners, and contributing whenever possible Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrated flexibility Succinct and professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with practitioners of various license types (Physicians, ARNPs, etc.) in a credentialing or administrative capacity CPCS Certification Knowledge of NCQA credentialing requirements Knowledge of CMS/Medicare/Medicaid-related requirements Knowledge of HIPAA requirements Experience with data reporting tools, such as Excel (advanced user is a plus) Experience with Modio Health, Asana, Tableau and Google Suite Process improvement experience Willingness to become a Notary Public 98point6 provides equal employment opportunities to all without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information or other protected status.
