SummaryMeta seeks an experienced, highly motivated attorney to serve as Lead Counsel for Platform Enforcement and Litigation. The position will report to the Associate General Counsel for Platform Enforcement and Litigation and will focus on Meta and its affiliates’ enforcement and litigation matters that target developer, advertiser and user practices that violate our terms and policies. This is a unique opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.Required SkillsLead Counsel, Platform Enforcement & Litigation Responsibilities:Work cross-functionally with Meta teams to identify and disrupt abusive platform practicesWork proactively to ensure compliance with litigation related obligationsExecute key strategic platform enforcement litigation matters in the United States and around the worldDirect investigations in anticipation of litigationOversee outside counsel relationships, including selecting, budgeting, managing, and evaluating counselMinimum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar5+ years of legal experience, including offensive litigation experience either in private practice or as a prosecutorExperience thinking strategically to solve complex legal challengesPreferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:Interpersonal skills, including experience communicating efficiently and to manage people effectivelyExperience with advocacy issuesExperience with highly-technical, software-related subject mattersExperience proactively managing cases and identifying efficienciesExperience building relationships and working as part of a teamEOEFacebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
