Lead Business Process Analyst –

Ecolab’s Enterprise Architecture & Digital Transformation organization is building a team of dynamic and influential digital business analysts, representing diverse backgrounds and specific business domains and looking to hire Lead Business Process Analyst.

This role will use established business analysis practices to translate between the business processes and requirements and the project team(s) delivering global digital products which achieve specific business outcomes.

It will help the cross-functional team to be aligned on user stories and detailed acceptance criteria while working in an Agile framework, assisting the product owner to write user stories that have accurate, testable, clear and concise acceptance criteria.

Additionally, this position is part of a cross-functional team maintain close business relationships and refines the business analysis practices and procedures.

This role will have potential to expand into architecture and innovation workstreams to help grow the enterprise.

This position is based out of our St.

Paul, MN office

What You Will Do:
Establish close relationships with product owners to discover and translate requirements including functional and non-functional Agile learner to become a trusted subject matter expert and explorer in business domains and capabilities assigned Demonstrate the ability to be self-directing within the construct of a team to accomplish project objectives Enjoy working with business partners and internal teams to brainstorm solutions, help identify and evaluate pros and cons, and then to guide decision-making through analysis techniques  Exhibit curiosity and a willingness to ask questions to understand the “why”  Identify issues and risks and proactively communicate them to the project manager/scrum master Experienced with defining what is in scope and out of scope, and making sure project artifacts represent that scope, and are understood by the project team members  Able to achieve proper requirements definition regardless of project methodology or framework Recognize the value of clear, complete acceptance criteria in user stories; committed to making sure the solution meets all acceptance criteria  Value the importance of change management; able to discern the perspective of the end-users and recommend change management approaches to address those perspectives  Appreciate the value in creating and maintaining proper documentation that will be valuable to ongoing platform management activities after the specific project effort has completed 
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field 8+ years of professional work experience 5+ Years of functional knowledge in the Supply Chain Manufacturing Area (Supply Chain Procurement area knowledge is a plus) including master data and integration with related areas (i.e.

upstream and downstream processes) 3+ Years of experience in a business environment performing analysis, requirements gathering, and problem-solving Experience working with global cross-functional teams with digital programs Ability to lead and manage multiple levels of stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Possess learning agility and diversity of knowledge and experience in different business domains like logistics, procurement, customer service or and/or digital innovation domains Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment Scrum Master or Product Owner certification would be a great plus
