Canyon Design creates innovative and environmentally responsible landscaping designs. We handle from design through build. We work in the San Fernando Valley and in the Los Angeles area. Canyon Design specializes in high-end projects. Job Responsibilities for our crew: Help foreman to measure properties. Heavy manual labor: Demolishing, digging, trenching, disposal of refuse. Knowledge of plant material, planting, irrigation, and low voltage lighting is preferred. Familiarity with drainage and water conservation is a plus. Able to lift 50 pounds. We work in all weather conditions. Must have a good attitude and desire to help fellow crew members. Clean up job site and tools at the end of the day. Requirements for our Foreman: One years’ experience in this position. Interested in moving up in the company. Good driving record and valid CDL. Authorized to work in the United States. Must show proof. Basic proficiency in English is preferred Must be courteous to other crew members, clients, and vendors. Must have a working car. Experience preparing job sites, amending soil, digging, planting, mulching, and installing decomposed granite. Knowledge of plant materials (particularly drought-resistant) preferred. Must have knowledge of tools, manual/electrical/gas. Must be vaccinated and boosted for Covid. (Proof required) A plus if you have your own tools. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $720.00 per week.
