Together, we’re working at the pace of change on diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges, driven by knowing that behind every test there is a patient waiting.Learn about the (Danaher Business System)(https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system) which makes everything possible.This position is located in Lodi, CA.*In this role you will have the opportunity to: ** Ensure laboratory environment and practices comply with guidelines set forth by company and regulatory agencies* Establish and implement GMP and GLP practices and procedures* Lead by example and serve as functional expert in the area of laboratory compliance and safety* Perform routine technical laboratory experiments and procedures* Develop, perform, and maintain laboratory contamination surveillance and decontamination program to ensure amplicons and other ANA (Amplifiable Nucleic Acids) contamination is prevented*The essential requirements of the job include: ** Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Science) with two (2) or more years’ experience in molecular diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical industry; OR Master’s degree with 0 years’ experience*  Knowledge and/or hands on experience with GMP test sample collection and sampling* Ability to support a 24/7 production and laboratory working environment* Knowledge of GMP equipment preventative maintenance and calibration program* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, excels in fast faced team environment, able to multi-task, highly self-motivated and goal oriented*It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: ** Laboratory techniques (e.g., PCR testing, lab aseptic techniques)* Prior experience in environmental monitoring program* Laboratory internal and external audit experience is desirableCepheid, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
