Labor And Employment Attorney

Raines Feldman Littrell LLP is fast growing and dynamic national law firm, with opportunities to work on a variety of transactions for clients in diverse industries. The firm is comprised of a team of highly experienced transactional and litigation attorneys from some of the nation’s most elite law firms. We are looking for candidates who can and are looking to assume immediate responsibility and who are willing to work as an integral part of a high performing and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Running cases from start to finish in collaboration with senior attorney
  • Managing client relationships
  • Serving as point of contact for opposing counsel
  • Drafting legal briefs
  • Guiding strategic decisions in complex litigation matters
  • Managing and coordinating with partners, paralegals, and assistants on matters
  • Managing multiple deadlines and tasks for various clients at once
  • Assessing legal risk for clients
  • Researching complicated legal questions

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience handling Labor & Employment matters involving wage & hour and PAGA
  • Trial experience preferred
  • Strong legal writing and research skills are a must
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and stay on top of deadlines, strong organizational skills
  • Ease in managing client relationships
  • Able to supervise matters throughout the entire life cycle (pre-litigation counseling, and handling litigation from inception through trial)
  • Able to run cases and manage paralegals and assistants
  • Positive attitude, team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this position is $155,000-$170,000. Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area. Associates are eligible to participate in RFL’s associate bonus program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
