Junior Payment Operations Specialist is responsible for processing wire transfers requests including domestic, international and FX payments, in a timely and accurate manner.
Must be able to work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
Wire processing is a fast-paced function requiring accuracy, multitasking and prioritizing.
Responsibilities include continuous training and development in this area.
EVERYDAY TASKS: Responsible for assisting the Payment Operations team in all activities involving day to day transactions Perform all tasks related to wire processing, input, verification, OFAC, travel rules, returns, repairs, recalls, service messages Conduct research in response to inquiries from our internal clients regarding wire processing and follow through on pending issues Prepare and process Domestic/International and FX Wire Operations Process investigations for Domestic, International and FX wires Provide verbal and written communication to internal and external clients regarding all aspects of wire processing Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank’s policies and procedures Provide back-up support as needed DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 1
– 3 years of related experience at banking back-office operations, preferably in digital banking or fintech field Solid understanding of wire transfer and ACH processing, compliance, corporate policies and procedures, and knowledge of federal rules and regulations Knowledge of FXs bank operations, Domestic and International Wires Ability to prioritize and identify wire transfers requiring immediate action Ability to work fast, multi-task, and think on your feet in high-pressure and fast-paced situations Strong customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service BENEFITS
