Kemper is seeking a motivated self-starter who is interested in an entry-level IT role, working with data in our downtown Chicago office.

This is an opportunity to gain skills and experience in data analysis with a growing company.

Position Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities Perform data discovery, profiling, and root cause analysis on large data assets Build Data mappings between Source and Target systems Participate in Data validation and Quality Assurance testing Partner with Data Stewards to build and implement new data quality rules Maintain a good application domain knowledge and assumes accountability to fulfill assigned areas of responsibility.

Position Qualifications: 0-2 years of experience with Bachelors degree in Information technology, related discipline, or related major.

Students Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program with a graduation date of May 2021 in similar disciplines are also welcomed Professional or academic experience in some of data disciplines like Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Modeling, Data Mining, Data Profiling, Data Curation etc.

Exposure to Cloud platform or Cloud-based databases like Snowflake, Redshift etc Proficient in writing SQL queries on relational database Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large data set Ability to work under direction, independently and in a team setting.

Able to work effectively with vendors and IT leadership Ability to organize information and communicate clearly and concisely.

Ability to manage own time, activities and resources to deliver timely results
