Entry Level DQ analyst
– 12 month + Project Looking for candidates who have graduated from a Reputable University in the USA, a degree in statistics, engineering, or computer science degree.
Would like to see some basic SQL skills, must have superb communication skills, be able to work independently after about 2 months of training, they will provide training in DQ.
Must be interested in long term.
What theyrsquoll do Use internal and external analytics tools to access, assess and certify data In-depth exploration of causes, trends, opportunities and actions required to improve data quality of key metrics, KPIs, and additional data elements Provide ad hoc analysis to support data team, business units, and key stakeholders for complex data quality questions Perform all aspects of data quality testing, certification and reporting Automate processes, procedures and workflows to ease data quality certification process Improve data quality across products and projects by collaborating with engineering, management, product and business teams What theyrsquoll need Bachelor (or Master degree) in MathPhysics ,Engineering or Computer Science, Information System or 3
– 5 years of work related experience Good math and statistic background to define advanced DQ checks Good analytical ability to understand business use cases and business processes in terms of data, root causes and recommended solutionsmitigations Exceptional written and oral communication skills that translate across technical and business stakeholders Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams across the DATA organization Capability to assess and problem-solve complex issues Independent, energetic, and motivated to learn the data quality domain.
Result driven while dealing with ambiguity and tight deadlines Nice to have 2+ yearsrsquo experience in SQL programming ability to readwrite complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate systemic defects and validate data quality 1+ yearsrsquo experience working with Big Data technologies (Cloudera, Hortonworks, HadoopSpark etc), relational databases (Sql ,mySql) as well as reporting tools like Tableau 1+ year experience working in DQ domain or DQ tools like Talend DQ, Pentaho, Informatica IDQ and Data Cleaner Familiar with version control system like GIT A creative mentality and strive for innovation within the entertainment industry
