Health Advocates is seeking a Jr. Data Analyst for our main office in Chatsworth, CA.
** $500 Sign-On Bonus **
Job Summary
The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for creating reports, maintaining databases, and analyzing data using various statistical techniques. Job responsibilities include: preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports via Excel and SQL, interpreting and analyzing data from primary and secondary data systems and address findings with appropriate parties, tracking patterns, variations and trends for management, acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data analysis systems, and perform miscellaneous duties and AdHoc reporting, as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of analysis experience required
- Prior experience working with databases and programming helpful
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
- Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be professional in conduct and practice, and also reliable
- Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team
- Must be able to type 30 WPM
Working Title: Data Analyst
Pay Rate: Depends on Experience
Position Type: Full-time; Non-Exempt
Schedule: Alternative Work Week Schedule – Mon-Thurs 7:30 am- 5 pm & Fri 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
Other: We conduct assessment testing and post offer background checks
